Registration and Conference Fee

Attendance will be by invitation only. The invited persons are kindly requested to register at their earliest convenience. The Conference Fee costs 40000 Japanese Yen (JPY) and it can be paid in advance or upon arrival. If you choose to pay in advance, please, arrange a bank transfer with the following data:

Participants are requested to check that their name is clearly indicated on the transfer slip sent to the bank. In order to avoid any difficulty in identifying the sender, a photocopy of the receipt should be please sent by fax to the TAUP 2007 Secretariat. The Conference Fee may also be paid cash upon arrival at the Conference. Only Japanese Yen (JPY) will be accepted.
The Conference Fee will include all the participant's Scientific and Social activities, the documentation, a copy of the Proceedings, the coffee-breaks, the excursion, and the Conference Dinner.
The Conference Dinner will be held at Hotel Taikanso which overlooks Matsushima Bay. Buses will take participants from the Conference venue to Shiogama port, then the cruise boat take participants to Matsushima Bay. In the cruise boat, participants can enjoy buffet style dinner with the view of the bay dotted with over 200 small islands. At the end of the Conference Dinner at the hotel, buses will return participants to the city.
Accompanying persons can purchase tickets for the Conference Dinner (7000 Japanese Yen). It can be paid in advance as same as the Conference Fee or upon arrival. In any case, additional reservations for accompanying persons are required in the Accommodation and Dinner Reservation Form.
Any foreign visitors wishing to enter Japan must have a valid passport and obtain a Japanese visa before coming. People of certain countries who want to visit Japan temporarily are permitted to enter without a visa.
