"Open House Tour of KamLAND"  Date: 7/12(Sat)-13(Sun)

  On July 12 (Sat.) - 13 (Sun.), "Open House Tour of KamLAND" will be held in Kamioka, Hida City, Gihu Prefecture. KamLAND detector is currently undergoing a major renovation to improve its observational performance, and the liquid scintillators and balloons that were inside have been removed. For the first time in about 20 years, visitors can enter the spherical tank where about 2,000 photomultiplier tubes are placed inside. Please come and take a look at this valuable opportunity.
