The KamLAND Experiment has decided to officially appoint the Hida Space Science Museum "KamiokaLab" (operated by Hida Academy) as its "Special Collaborator," aiming to share the fascination of its research more widely with society. By uniting this cutting-edge research institution with the local community that hosts its base, a new framework of cooperation will be established to deliver insights into astrophysics from diverse perspectives. To commemorate this appointment, an official ceremony was hold at KamiokaLab on May 3rd.
