Atsuto Takeuchi has been nominated for the "Pregident's Award"

The Department of Physics'new PhD lecture and the award ceremony for the Department of Physics Award were held on the 17th February 2022.

Atsuto Takeuchi (3rd year PhD's student) belonging to RCNS gave a lecture of his doctoral thesis "First Search for Majorana Neutrinos in the Inverted Mass Hierarchy Region with KamLAND-Zen".  Also, he has been nominated for the "Pregident's Award" and the ward will be presented around the end of March.

Tomomi Gima(2nd year master's student) won the "Department of Physics Award" by her master's thesis "Identification and track reconstruction of muon bundle in KamLAND", and Taichi Sakai (2nd year master's student) won the "Department of Physics Award" by his master's thesis "Development of detector components for low-temperature and high-pressure environment, and performance evaluation with simulation toward ocean bottom anti-neutrino detector OBD".
