Assistant Prefessor Hiroko Watanabe was granted the title of
『Distinguished Researchers of Tohoku University』

The 11 young faculty members have been granted the title of 『Distinguished Researchers of Tohoku University』 as of 1 May 2023, after the candidates nominated by the heads of departments were vetted by a screening committee.

Assistant Professor Hiroko Watanabe of RCNS member has also been awarded the title. This is truly welcome news.
