The assistant professor Hiroko Watanabe won the second (2021) “Fumiko Yonezawa Memorial Prize” in the achievement “Measuring the Earth's neutrino flux and constraining its composition”

The JPS (The Physical Society of Japan) has established the "Fumiko Yonezawa Memorial Prize" to celebrate the achievements of Professor Yonezawa in 2019 and to honor and encourage the activities of woman members of the JPS. (The late Fumiko Yonezawa, emeritus professor, Keio University, made major contributions to physics.)
